Try pMix Studio before it hits the App Store
The beta is open to anyone with a recent iPad. Tap the link, install through TestFlight, and run a real stream with it. Then tell us what broke, what confused you, and what you wished it did.
pMix Studio is in final testing before its App Store release. We are giving early builds to people who will actually run a stream with it, so the more real your test, the more useful it is.
How to install
1. Open the link on your iPad
Tap the TestFlight link on the iPad you will stream from. If TestFlight is not installed yet, the App Store opens first. Install it, then tap the link again.
2. Accept and install
TestFlight shows the current build and its notes. Tap Accept, then Install. From then on new builds update in the background.
3. Add your iPhones
Install the free pMix Camera app on each iPhone you want to use as a camera, put everything on the same Wi-Fi, and the iPad finds them. The docs walk through it below.
4. Run a real stream
A rehearsal counts. Go live to an unlisted YouTube stream or just record, then come and tell us how it went.
What you need
- An iPad with an M-series chip running iPadOS 26 or later. iPad Pro with M2 or later is best for several cameras at once.
- One or more iPhones with an A14 chip or later on iOS 26 or later, to use as cameras. Optional, since NDI and HDMI cameras work too.
- 5 GHz Wi-Fi that all the devices share. A dedicated router or access point for the production is ideal.
- Something to stream. A YouTube, Facebook, Twitch or other account, or just a recording for a first run.
What we ask of testers
- Run at least one real stream or rehearsal with it, not just a look around the interface.
- Post bugs in the community with your iPad model, iPadOS version and what you were doing when it happened. Screenshots and screen recordings help a lot.
- Tell us what confused you. If a button or a word did not make sense, that is a bug too.
- Beta builds can have bugs. Do not rely on one for a stream you cannot redo without a fallback plan.
