Adding a source

  1. Tap the + button on any empty slot in the source grid — the picker is titled Add Input with the slot number
  2. Select a source type from the picker
  3. Configure the source (e.g., select an NDI device, choose a video file, enter text)
  4. Confirm

Every source panel works the same way: nothing is created until you confirm, and cancelling part-way leaves the slot empty rather than half-configured. If a source fails to start, the slot rolls back to empty and tells you why.

The source begins loading and appears in the slot with a live thumbnail once active.

Taking a closer look

Every source editor has a magnify button in its action row. It opens that source’s live video full-window, with pinch to zoom from 1x and drag to pan — the way to check focus or read a lower third without cutting to it.

The program monitor has the same button, for a full-window look at what’s actually going to air.

Removing a source

  1. Long-press the source slot in the grid
  2. Tap Remove Source

The slot becomes empty and available for a new source.

Source states

Each source has a state indicator:

  • Idle — Source is configured but not yet active
  • Loading — Source is connecting or buffering
  • Active — Source is producing frames and ready for use
  • Error — Connection failed or source is unavailable
  • Paused — Media player is paused

Reordering sources

Long-press and drag a source slot to reorder it in the grid. The slot number affects keyboard shortcuts and OSC addressing (slots are numbered starting from 1).
